Sponsor children's artistic activitiesChildren of all ages deserve the opportunity to express themselves artistically. In particular, handicapped children may be unable to attend school, and those with severe disabilities may hardly be able to communicate with others. But the simple gift of paper and crayons or water colours, although inexpensive, can bring light and joy into homes where unbroken misery is a fact of daily life for many. Tsunami-affected children who carry scars within too may benefit enormously from the opportunity to express themselves in artistic media including drawing, painting, clay sculpture, music and dance. Our volunteers facilitate donors' small scale contributions of art supplies, musical instruments, and sports equipment to schools, orphanages, children's clubs, and even to individual handicapped children. Even the smallest donation can buy lots of paper and crayons or water colors for some deserving child or children. To enquire about sponsoring art activities, contact Patrick Harrigan.
Work on this site is in progress.
